I have been on this beautiful Reiki journey for over three years since I took the plunge and enrolled myself in the Reiki Level 1 workshop with my teacher, Priya Sethi.

Level 1 was a wonderful experience which I attended with an open mind & willingness. I did not anticipate anything and just observed and absorbed everything that was taught. We were given a brief introduction of The USUI system & were taught self cleansing & healing in the 2 day workshop. After the 21 days cleansing period,there was no looking back and I continued with level 2, Level 3A( Reiki Masters Degree) & 3B (Reiki Teachers Degree) with Priya.

She has been my only Reiki teacher and I am ever grateful to her for introducing & making me experience this wonderful Life Force Energy. One of the main reason for my continued dedication towards Reiki was her loving,calm,composed,supportive & pristine nature and she has this quality in her which makes you open up to her. She has played a very instrumental part in my Reiki journey!

All her Reiki students were welcomed to re attend the class, including receiving attunements again. We were welcomed to attend the sessions to solidify our knowledge & experience. My experience throughout my learning process was positive & pleasant.

Priya Sethi was my inspirational teacher for Usui Reiki at Level 2 Reiki and Level 3a, which I was just able to squeeze in before I had to leave the country on a new assignment. Otherwise, I would have been able to do the whole of level 3 with Priya. Together, we explored any challenges that I faced during my learning and I always felt calm, happy and excited to be learning with such a wise and intuitive Reiki Master. Later, I had the chance to train by observing Priya teach other groups Reiki Level 1 and I was always impressed by the warm atmosphere of support and compassion which she generated among her students from so many different walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Priya Sethi is a very warm and loving teacher. There's a pleasant and uplifting spirit about her. I have gotten all my attunements done by her, level 1 through 3, and I can say she will get you there in a very caring manner.

I still remember the impact that the level 1 attunement had on me. I spent almost two days sleeping like a baby and just lying around in bed after the attunement, it was unusual. But later I woke up feeling amazingly charged and in pure bliss. Within the following few months, after completing the 21 days healing period for level 1, I went to her again and got started on level 2. I found the classes to be enjoyable, to say the least, and by the end of the course I had discovered a great potential in this energy called Reiki (anyone who's ever channeled Reiki will know what I'm talking about; like a reassurance that nothing is impossible). I finally completed Reiki 3 last year and I'm glad I went through with this journey.

My husband and I got the opportunity of learning Reiki first degree from Priya. It was infact a beautiful experience. Everything was simple and enhanced inner peace. Her instructions were very clear to follow and she was always there to help us. Even after we completed our first degree Priya always patiently answered our quaries. Till date she has mentored and helped us whenever we were in some confusions.

The whole experience of Reiki have helped us in many ways. External as well as internal. Bring a mother, it has helped me a lot. Infact I learned my first degree when I was 4 months pregnent. That was the first time I felt my baby moving.. very beautiful experience.

My interest towards the mystery of spirituality pulled me towards Priya's teaching of Reiki. She has guided me till Level 3A of Reiki. Wish I could have completed the complete session to become a Reiki teacher and spread the peace I have attained thru her training and guidance. Priya was the "light of hope" in my life. I was disturbed, agitated mentally, physically and emotionally. My life was in a junction where I was drowning in a negative world. Only darkness was around me. Didn't know how to start, which way to go !!! And then I came to know about Reiki and Trainer was Priya. It was beginning of a new life . I was not too optimistic about Reiki, almost half heartedly went to join the class with my friend Shirly. After the first day I felt a strong bond between me and Priya. Whenever I am in distressed situation I do receive mail from her with the solution. It happens uncountable time. I felt her presence every where, she did rescued me from the darkness and showed me the light. I do experience energy field around me, which guided me to meet my goals and assert my needs. During the courses I have found fulfillment and happiness in my soul. Priya has taught me through Reiki the art of self observation . Which is now helping me to open the door to positive changes. My first level course on reiki with Priya Sethi only took a few days to complete. But it changed my life thereafter.

Whatever preconceived notions one may have about what they are going to ‘achieve’ or ‘receive’ by doing this course should be unceremoniously thrown out! Because the effects of this course will far exceed any limited human hopes of healing or ‘overcoming a problem’. Under her gentle guidance and wisely chosen readings, Priya taught me life skills to deal with life exactly the way it’s meant to be lived. Without apology.

Her second level reiki course took me on more of an inward journey, helping me to acknowledge my scars, appreciate my strengths and recognize my mental and emotional pressure points. Thanks to Priya, I learnt that human beings by definition are a ‘work in progress’ no matter what their age. It is a testimony to her superb mentoring skills that she sustained the right balance between pushing me forward through the murky waters and buoying me when I felt overwhelmed. Her love and support made me realize that the beauty lies in the journey almost as much as it does in getting to the destination.

The third level reiki course was more challenging. One had to read Priya’s lessons with their eyes, their mind and their heart. And then, one had to live it. At this level we were taught how to imbibe reiki as part of our everyday life. Although somewhat doubtful at first, Priya’s grace and calm aura as she juggled impossible schedules and unexpected situations gave me hope that this too was doable. It is something I do till today, even though those lessons ended a long time ago.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. Anyone can learn it if they want to. But if you want a teacher who will teach you how to live a fulfilling life the reiki way, then Priya Sethi is the one for you. Her lessons remain within you.

I completed Reiki 1&2 from Priya in Dhaka. This is how my journey began for spiritual healing and rejuvenation of my inner strength. I learnt from Priya that disease is accumulation of negative energy or it happens due to breakage of energy. Through Reiki or universal force, energy can be channelized for healing from the root cause of problems. Whenever I hear about friends and family suffering from any physical problems, I send Reiki and tell them to surrender to the almighty for healing. My Reiki Experience.

Reiki came into my life when I felt helpless and hopeless!

That was nearly 5 years ago, a time when, as a family, we were struggling to accept the fact that my young niece, who had Hodgkin's Lymphoma, might not survive.

When I felt that I needed Reiki to be a part of my inner self, to help me with the confused religious and spiritual struggles I was facing, I knew instinctively that I had to ask Priya to be my guide and teacher for Reiki for level 3.I had

previously done level 1& 2 with somebody else.

Priya has been my closest friend for over 18 years. Her calm and gentle demeanor have helped me cross many a hurdle in these years. I've turned to her for guidance and advice for the simplest of complications to the most meaningful moments of my life.

My Reiki experience with Priya has been life changing for me! It is a change that has touched every part of me - mind, body and soul! It has provided me with an insight of my true self, allowed me to sleep peacefully at night, accept my shortcomings and rejoice in my strengths. I may have gone to someone else for Reiki but there was an inner voice that urged me to go through this experience with Priya. I am thankful that I followed the voice as I believe she has a calling as a Reiki guide and provides all of us 'sheep' with the direction that we need.

I have taken various level of REIKI classes and instructions from PRIYA (Priya Malik Shethi) in 2012 while I was posted and working in Bangladesh as a Development Consultant. Finally I have graduated as a level 3 Master under Priya’s tutelage.

I came to Reiki after already having some experience in Yoga, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and little Tai- chi and Taekwondo exposures. However I read about REIKI and was intrigued enough to try and learn from a true Master. Priya is one such person. She is knowledgeable, caring and takes care of the details of instructions in such a way that she is able to teach and pass on her skill fully to any student who is serious and pays attention. I must say I found Priya’s teaching approach as very refreshing, encouraging and fulfilling. She cares for her students and will teach and repeat her lessons as many times it is required for the students to achieve the proficiency. She is a loving and compassionate person to all.

In the beginning of each level of REIKI, she initiated and opened my energy channels for the REIKI energy to flow through. As soon as she opened the energy paths in me I started experiencing the colour sensations as I did the Reiki Meditations and exercises to heal the Chakras and balance them. . This was a new experience for me.

Through Priya’s guidance we were able to scan other people’ s ( students) body for energy flow and would discover blockages of energy flow indicating some problem or sickness. This would be confirmed later by the person. It is an amazing feeling.

If I did the Chakra balance in the morning I felt light and great through the day. I think probably the most benefit of practicing REIKI is to the person who practices REIKI. Priya taught us to learn to be grateful every evening at the end of the day for whatever one is and for whatever one does and concentrate on doing it well. It is very much similar to great teaching from many masters in the world.

I continue to practice Yoga, Meditation and Reiki regularly.

When Priya moved to USA we all urged her to continue her great work- to help people with REIKI and to teach people to learn how to do REIKI. I am happy that she has decided to continue with her REIKI work.
